Placeholder: this policy sets the baseline rules for all content and conduct on Mainstage. It applies to brands and creators and works alongside our Terms of service. Brands can add stricter rules in a Brief.
1. Purpose
Placeholder: we want Campaigns that are authentic, legal, and safe for brands to be associated with. This policy explains what is not allowed and what happens when rules are broken.
2. Prohibited content
Placeholder: content submitted through Mainstage must not include the following.
- Illegal activity, or promotion of it.
- Hateful, harassing, or discriminatory content.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any exploitation of minors.
- Graphic violence or content that incites harm.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- False or misleading claims, scams, or deceptive content.
[Trust and safety: confirm the full prohibited-content list and any category-specific rules.]
3. Disclosure and advertising rules
Placeholder: paid content must be disclosed clearly. Creators are responsible for following advertising rules, including FTC disclosure guidance and each platform's sponsored-content tools.
[Counsel: confirm disclosure requirements by region and platform.]
4. Authenticity and fraud
Placeholder: views and engagement must be real. Bots, view inflation, fake accounts, and any attempt to manipulate verification are not allowed and can result in withheld Payouts and account removal.
5. Platform and IP compliance
Placeholder: you must use assets you have the rights to and follow the rules of the platforms where content is posted, including music, footage, and likeness rights.
6. Brand suitability controls
Placeholder: brands set their own rules in the Brief and approve each Submission in the Review Queue before it counts. This policy is the floor; a Brief can be stricter.
7. Enforcement
Placeholder: when content or conduct breaks these rules we may take action proportionate to the violation.
- Reject a Submission in the Review Queue.
- Remove content or require it to be taken down.
- Withhold or reverse a Payout tied to violating content.
- Suspend or terminate an account for serious or repeated violations.
8. Reporting a violation
If you see content or conduct that breaks these rules, tell us.
